About the Job
The Corporate Recruiter plays a critical role in shaping the talent acquisition function at the company. This hands-on position is responsible for managing all aspects of recruitment operations, from sourcing to hiring, without the support of an applicant tracking system. The recruiter serves as a strategic partner to hiring managers, ensuring alignment between business needs and talent strategy. The role is instrumental in building foundational recruitment processes, maintaining compliance, supporting hiring decision-making, and will actively contribute to the implementation and integration of a future HR system.
The Corporate Recruiter will be responsible for the full-cycle recruitment process across a wide range of roles, including entry-level, mid-management, and executive positions. Based in Doral, FL this role will partner closely with hiring managers and the Vice President of Human Resources to attract and hire candidates who not only meet role requirements but also align with our company’s values and culture.
Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruitment Management
- Own and manage end-to-end recruitment for roles across all departments and seniority levels.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and guide candidates through the selection process.
- Manage all interview logistics and coordinate with internal teams to ensure a seamless process.
- Deliver timely feedback and manage the offer and closing process.
Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development
- Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies, including passive candidate outreach via LinkedIn and other platforms.
- Maintain and grow a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
- Leverage job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.) and employee referrals to attract diverse, high-quality candidates.
Hiring Partner Collaboration
- Partner with department leaders to define role requirements and ideal candidate profiles.
- Assist in crafting and refining job descriptions that align with team needs and company culture.
- Act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers, guiding them on recruitment best practices.
Candidate Experience & Employer Branding
- Ensure a positive and engaging experience for all candidates from initial contact through onboarding.
- Serve as a brand ambassador to communicate company culture, mission, and values to prospective hires.
- Support initiatives to enhance the company’s visibility and employer brand on digital platforms.
Reporting & Process Optimization
- Track, measure, and report key recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate conversion rates).
- Keep recruitment dashboards and spreadsheets up to date to ensure transparency and data integrity.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and help streamline manual recruitment workflows.
HR Systems & Technology Integration
- Support the evaluation of a future applicant tracking system (ATS) or HRIS.
- Play a key role in testing, implementing, and integrating the selected platform into daily recruiting operations.
- Provide input on system features and workflows that align with real recruiting needs.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain accurate candidate records and ensure hiring processes meet internal policy and legal compliance standards.
- Assist in standardizing recruiting documentation and templates to ensure consistency across functions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on, full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably across a variety of functions and levels—including executive recruitment.
- Proven ability to source and hire candidates who align with organizational culture and values.
- Experience working without an ATS and managing recruitment processes through tools like LinkedIn, Indeed, and spreadsheets; prior exposure to implementing or using ATS/HRIS platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and recruitment compliance requirements.
- Experience in high-volume recruiting environments and/or startup or fast-growing organizations is a plus.
Skills/Knowledge Requirements
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities in both English and Spanish, with the professionalism to effectively engage candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Interpersonal Effectiveness: Able to build strong partnerships with hiring managers, foster candidate relationships, and collaborate across departments.
- Organizational Strength: Highly detail-oriented with exceptional time management and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and open roles simultaneously.
- Independent Work Ethic: Self-motivated and able to take initiative, manage tasks with minimal supervision, and follow through on commitments.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using tools like Microsoft Office, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Indeed; adaptable to new systems and technologies.
- ATS & Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with applicant tracking systems; experience participating in system implementation or process integration is a plus.
- Analytical Judgment: Skilled in evaluating resumes, conducting interviews, and making thoughtful hiring recommendations aligned to role and culture fit.
- Confidentiality & Discretion: Demonstrates sound judgment and professionalism when handling sensitive or confidential information.
- Process Improvement Mindset: Open to identifying inefficiencies in recruitment processes and contributing to the development of scalable solutions.
