About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales and Chief Revenue Officer to spearhead and own the overall revenue strategy, with a specific focus on driving growth across its ERP product offerings to small local governments, utilities, and municipalities. This senior leadership role demands a candidate with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality, extensive experience in ERP and payments software sales to the government sector, and a proven track record of leading teams to success. The successful candidate will be responsible for sales leadership and strategy, revenue growth, team development, deal support and closure, maintaining sales processes and tools, board presentations, trade show engagement, and cross-functional collaboration. Key responsibilities for the role include leading and mentoring a high-performing sales team, directly driving revenue growth, and ensuring that aggressive growth goals are met. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' experience in a senior sales leadership position, with a strong preference for a military background due to the discipline, strategic mindset, and leadership qualities it brings. They should be proficient in sales tools such as Salesforce and Clarity, and possess exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. The role also requires a willingness to travel and the ability to engage effectively with C-suite executives, government leaders, and other stakeholders.
