Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site Sign Installer position based in Bellingham, WA. The Sign Installer is responsible for the safe and efficient installation of a wide variety of signage, including electric signs, LED message centers, vehicle graphics, and related products. The role involves interpreting installation plans and specifications, assembling and mounting signage, operating specialized tools and equipment, and ensuring all installations meet quality and safety standards. Collaboration with internal team members and interaction with customers are essential to successfully complete projects according to scope and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Install electric signs, LED displays, vehicle graphics/wraps, and other signage products at job sites.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and installation plans to ensure accurate execution.
Assemble, mount, and secure signage using appropriate tools, hardware, and techniques.
Perform basic electrical work related to signage, including wiring and component installation.
Operate installation equipment such as lifts, ladders, and hand/power tools.
Follow all safety procedures, job site requirements, and industry best practices.
Conduct quality checks and troubleshoot installation issues as needed.
Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure project alignment.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in reading and interpreting installation drawings and blueprints.
Hands-on experience using tools and equipment common to sign installation and mounting.
Working knowledge of electrical components, including LED and neon signage.
Experience with vehicle graphics and wraps, including digital print application, preferred.
Ability to safely operate lifts, ladders, and work at heights.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and physical stamina.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Prior experience in signage installation required.
Valid driver s license required; CDL certification preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school training or relevant certifications a plus.
