Food Production Worker

Days:

• Monday - Friday, Overtime as needed

Hours:

• 4:00am until 12:30pm or until production is done for the day.

Pay:

• $18.00 per hour

Benefits:

• Benefits once hired on permanently

Job Duties:

Could be doing a multitude of jobs to include putting boxes together, placing port briskets, pork butts and chicken into marinades and then placing into industrial smokers. Working in a room that you place cooked meats into a shredder and then work the end of the line hand inspecting and pulling apart larger pieces and discarding non-usable. Working in a room that cools down shredded meat and your lift and roll meats to aide in that process. Working in a packaging area putting sauces into machines that portions sauce into and onto of meat and then goes through the packaging process. Boxing and labeling products for shipment. Other jobs as required. Areas can be cold and warm depending on where you are working.

Requirements:

• Steel Toe Shoes
• Warm clothing, to include coat, hat, gloves, layered clothing
• Ability to follow NYS Food and Sanitation laws.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently
• Ability to work in a cold work environment
• Ability to read and write English for reporting purposes
• Ability to work independently and also as a team
