The Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Utah Tech University in St. George, UT, invites applications for a Geology position to begin January 2026. The focus of the position is on structural geology, tectonics, field geology, and related areas. The selected candidate will teach courses at the general education through upper division level within their specialty, as well as mentor undergraduate research projects, which are required for graduation. POSITION DETAILS, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Full-time (9-month) tenure-track faculty position. Faculty service begins January 2026. Annual salary of $65,000-$68,000 depending on qualifications and experience, with additional compensation available for optional summer/overload teaching.
