PARK CITY, Utah — A week of racing concluded on Sunday at the Utah Olympic Park in the North America’s Cup with two-person and four-person sleds.

Along with the USA, countries competed from Brazil, Canada, Thailand, Israel, Jamaica, India, Korea, Nigeria, and Chinese-Taipei.

Three-time American Olympian Todd Hays won the silver medal in bobsledding at the Utah Olympic Park Bobsled Track in the Salt Lake 2002 Olympics. He now coaches the Jamaican Bobsled Team and told TownLift, “The races are going great this week, the track
is incredibly well prepared, and the organization is smooth. It’s fun having this talented, dedicated bunch of young drivers getting the runs on the track and so we’re really happy with it all. It’s exciting to be a part of this newest Jamaican Bobsled Team movement and moment.”
